ELDORADO CANYON HUMMER & GOLD MINE ADVENTURE TOUR
This awesome guided mining tour, above and below ground, takes you into the oldest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. This tour begins as you walk through the old Techatticup Mill site. This mill site is where the ore was brought out of the mine to the stamp mill, crushed into a powder and mixed in cyanide tanks where the gold and silver were then separated. Then it’s off to the entrance of the old Savage Mine, where you can explore some 500 feet deep into the side of the mountain. Once inside, you will see views deep into the veins were early mines chased gold and silver.
The Savage Mine produced millions and millions of ounces of gold and silver during the great gold rush of the 1800’s. There is a good chance that you may see burro descendents from the miners and/or native Big Horn Sheep. This tour has only recently been opened up to the general public and is a must see for all Old West history buffs and those who love awesome western scenery. Again, don’t forget your camera!

Hey if you are reading this please send a copy to the Hummer tour guide Richard for me! I just want to say that we had the best dang tour guide ever! RICHARD YOU ROCK! =D ( You guys should give him a promotion if he isnt already at the highest branch in his job! ;) )The tour was the best one and the most fun I have ever had on a tour before! We went on a tour of the grandcanyon, Guano peak,the park with the Long horn goats,Hoover dam and saw all the "dam" tourists, we got sooooo many great photo shots, and we had the best time ever! Righard was sooo fun, nice, informative, was a BEAST at driving his lil(cause the big on broke down) hummer, and sure knew how to scare the "Guano" out of the majority of the tourists at the grandcanyon! =-D Im trying to figure out how to send Richard picture of the Witte Family like he asked, but cant seem to figure out how. =P Anyway, he gave us THE BEST TOUR EVER!!!!=D
Thanks for making my family's and my summer vacation trip to Las Vegas the best it could ever be!
